I didnt want to post this thread but I feel like I am being forced to.
I've tried to contact him in everyway possible about the warranty he was offering on the kits. I have to place of the ballasts after only a few months of use. I took it to my mechanic and he told me that the quailty of kits are not any better than the $30 ones that sell on ebay.
A few weeks after I installed them I advised him that the lighting was not anywhere close to the pictures he had advertised. He told me to adjust the height, which I did and it did not help. I've tooken the kit off and am now looking are alternative sources for better lighting.
Anyone else dissapointed with the kits they bought or have any idea how to get a hold of him?
Sorry to hear. I bought their original kit over 5 years ago and they are still on my car and function great! DJ MotorSports stands behind their product. I had a ballast go bad recently and they were able to help me out. I hope you can get this resolved soon. Best of luck.
I guess I'm the only one that got a bad kit from them. Understandable that during any production process that a few are going to be subpar. More dissapointed with the customer service than the product. It is what it is and I'll will just no longer purchase from them.
JW Motoring is a forum vendor and a good place to start if looking at replacing your HID kits. I have been running low beams and fogs from him for 2 years now without a problem. His kits and great quality and not expensive in price. Plus he will back his products up if there is a problem.
Can't comment on the kit, the vendor or the warranty but I wouldn't go to anyone else to get a kit other than JW Motoring. They are a proven......quality high end products supported by excellent customer service. Good luck with getting this all straightened out.
Have several Xentec kits off the bay and they have been fine and low cost.......like $40 shipped for 35w, $50 for 50w. I did have one ballast go bad and they replaced it.
