We are a Tire Rack wholesale dealer. They are a pleasure to work with - fast delivery and knowledgeable folks answer the phones. I highly recommend them!

No problems at all. I ordered General Exclaims for my Vette two years ago. Great price, delivered to the door and they'll provide you with local installer names.

Default Check out DTD shipping was free

When I bought my PS2s a couple years ago Tire Rack was cheaper but not when you added shipping. Discount Tire Direct's price included free shipping. Saved a bundle. Looked at TR preferred installers around here.
While my son had his tires mounted and balanced at a TR installer for a reasonable price the same installer wanted extra for runflats, TPMS sensors and I think phases of the moon. Called around and had them mounted and road force balanced at of all places a Chevy dealership.
Look around before you put down your cash.

I've had a few good experiences with them in the past. Where I get hung up is on the shipping cost and the cost and hassle of mount/balance somewhere else. I recently went to the shop down the road from my office with my tirerack quote in hand and they said they'd match the price (including shipping) and they'd throw in the mount/balance for free if I bought the tires from them. I prefer to support my local shop, so I went that direction this last time.

I think its great to support the local. When you live in a large metro area though, not sure who qualifies as local and I doubt anyone around here would give me that deal. My prob was that no one around here had the tire I needed and were very slow about putting any effort to get them, so I went with Tire Rack and glad I did.

TIRERACK EXPERIENCE: Order a full set of PS2s and new shocks. I live in Korea and never received the products. When I contacted Tirerack they immediately re-shipped the purchased tires and shocks....No questions.... I got those in 7 days! I'm still waiting on the first shipment..... Great customer service....hard to find anymore....

My local guys wouldn't know a Corvette from a Chevette. My local guys would excel at doing a JD, Case, or MF tractor

I use Tirerack, then throw the wheels from the Z in bed of my truck for a trip to mount/balance.

i got great service from tire rack and i used one of their certified shops in my area to have them installed. the shop was staffed by nothing but car nuts and you could eat off the floor of the place. the service was beyond my expectations, and the tires were delivered directly to the shop so i didn't even have to try to figure out how to transport everything. i couldn't have been happier with the whole process, not to mention that the real live person i spoke with at tire rack knew his stuff and was very helpful in assisting me in making a decision as to what tire i eventually purchased. i wouldn't go elsewhere the next time i need tires for any of my cars.

Haha! Gotcha - in that case, definitely go with TR, they do a great job.

Seriously, I've used them many times throughout the years (most recently, last month for tires for the wife's vehicle) and have never been dissappointed with their srvice or prices.

Yep, Luke is the man (despite what his wife says).

Love the Sumitomo's I got, even though Luke said they would be noisy and they are. But crap $400 delivered for 4 stock C5 sizes, who could resist?!?

Love Tire Rack - dozens of tires over the years. Discount Tire Direct may be slightly cheaper after you add shipping cost to Tire Rack, but difference is minimal. Not worth giving up excellent service and next day (standard) delivery I get from their DE warehouse. Also always lots of info. on their web site!

My experience was excellent. And, by the way, I also purchased Bridgestone Potenza RE760s for my 03 Z06. I had them shipped directly to one of their recommended installers. Great transaction.
