Default Another balancer question

I just replace the front crank seal in my 99 this weekend. I know there is a 2.8 to 4.6mm clearance from the crank snout to the balancer face. I'm at 4mm. I know the bolt is torqed to 37 ft lbs then 140 degrees. I did the torqe by the book and when I did the 140 degree seat on the bolt it seemed easier than I expected to stretch the bolt. I've done this before and the last time I had my son on a cheater while I watched the torque angle gage, so I don't know how hard it should have been to reach 140 degrees. This time I did it by myself.
My question is: Am I paranoid or has anyone else found that stretching to 140 was not that difficult. I don't want to finish buttoning up the car until i get a couple of oppinions.
thanks
Rick

Hey Rick......can't answer your question but if you haven't done it I would suggest also posting your inquiry in the Tech Forum. Some real experts on this type of stuff hang out there.
