Default Side skirts without splitter??

Hi guys,

I am thinking about doing a front splitter and side skirts this summer. However my car is lowered and I think the front splitter would be too low to the ground. Not to worried about the side skirts being too low my headers stick down already so it cant be much worse. Any ideas on how it would look with side skirts and no front splitter? May even do them in black...

Rob

Good to find someone who thinks like me. I just don't know if it would look awkward with either ACI or JWs side skirts without some kind of front splitter and I don't want to fight with the front splitter blocking air to my radiator and intercooler

Lol You should be fine. I would buy from JW cause his price is reasonable. ACI I think is like $500

I have a Tiger Shark nose but opted not to put the splitter on. It wouldn't last very long anyways. I do have side skirts.

IMO, I think you need the front splitter to complete the look that you're going after. There are other options out there besides ACI. Have you seen "QuickZ06" and his splitters that he came out with? He created a custom splitter that looks like the ACI splitter, but is not quit as low, which is what you are worried about.

Here is the thread with pics, just an option: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...d-c5r-lip.html

Thanks and I am currently in the process on getting one locally from a forum member I am going take a look at it next weekend. What do you think on my car black it is flat black already I think I will put it on Flat black then decide if I want to paint or not afterwards.
