Improved ride!
Read about suspension and ride quality on the forum so thought I would add my experience.
Bought my 00 in June of last year. It was lowered and had Kumho and OEM shocks. Have not been happy with the ride quality or the handling since I got the car. Had a mind of its own on ruffer surfaces and bumps were jarring.
Just installed Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP (Ultra High Performance All-Season) and Bilstein HD shocks all around. Four wheel alignment. Also raised front and rear to GM specs. What a vast improvement! Cannot believe I'm driving the same car! The handling and steering are greatly improved, actually goes where I steer rather than following the road ruts. Ride comfort is dramatic for the better. I was actually stunned by the difference. Should not have waited so long to make these changes. Best money spent in a long time.
Just thought I'd provide the info for anyone concerned with ride/handling problems......
