Well i'm happy to announce i'm done with my winter mods for this year. I haven't done modding like this since my heads/cam install in the spring of '08. So far this year i did the clutch/torque tube couplers/hydraulics along with the interior swap to the black/torch red, ACA projection headlights and a Alpine amp/stealth box/10" Kicker CVT sub install. This subwoofer only has a 4.5" mounting depth and HOLY crap does it slam hard in the car. Whole setup weighs 35lbs ~Cole~
I have been busy with the clutch i had the living room FULL of parts and boxes. The garage is partially full of carpet and plastic peices from the black to red swap
Any opinions on the clutch?
Any plans for the seats?
Thanks for the pics/eye candy..
I love the clutch so far. We will see the overall reliablity of it but the Diamond Stage 2 dual friction feels awesome so far. It shudders a little on take off but from the vendors desciption it's normal until it's broken in. It's already getting better. I've put about 60-75 miles of city driving and about 100 miles of highway with the new clutch and try shifting alot. It feels good and grabs good and the peddle feel is just slightly stiffer than stock. Maybe that has to do with my stock hydraulics before were JUNK and i had a leaking slave cylinder.
As for the seats i do have a person that may be redoing them but it's $700-800 with new foam and added bolstering plus all new leather. So for now the seats are gonna stay stock until maybe next winter when i can get the seats done. I've got a 100% completely new idea for the seats that's gonna be done that i've never seen done before, at least on here
That picture with everything out of the rear gives me the *******...almost like watching a heart transplant surgery when the patient has no heart for a while.. nice looking mods and thanks for the pics!
