Default caliper paint question

I am going to be painting my calipers soon. What do you guys use to remove the paint from the corvette lettering on the caliper after you paint them?

Razor blade worked great for me then just a light sand. What colour?

I used a razor blade. I suppose you could use laquer thinner on a rag also.

I just painted around the letters the best I could and immediately wiped letters off with mineral spirits and worked terrific. Razor too later works but I like to get it off early.

I've read of putting chapstick on the letters before painting, then scraping it off when done.

I use paint thinner a t-shirt streched over my index finger to wipe the paint off.

+1 with the razor blade. Also, use masking tape over the letters and then said blade to cut out the tape over the letters, thus giving you a nice template for your new letter colors! After you paint the whole caliper of course.
Don't forget to cover the fluid inlet as well, or spray will get in there and you'll contaminate your brake fluid and have to remove, clean out the affected caliper with mineral spirits, wipe dry, and then drain/refill your brake system...ask me how I know...

I use fine sandpaper on a block of wood. Tape off around the letters so the block doesn't hit anything else but the letters. Also gives the letters a nice smooth polished look also:

I used an Exacto knife and gently scraped the paint off the letters.

Paint your caliper. Spray some brake cleaner on a rag and rub over the letters, real easy real fine
