Default Good Service

I bought a C5 SS Screen kit from Vetteshop, LLC (vetteshop.cc). I messed up the double coated tape for one of the cove screens. ( My fault ) I called them to get a replacement length of tape fully willing to pay. They sent a small roll no-charge -even paid the postage.
Not a big amount of money, but still I call it good customer service.

That is good customer service for sure. I purchased their complete blackout kit and although I had no issues. The shipment was fast. Many of the forum vendors are great at customer service.

Default Good vendors !

I bought a few things from Mid-America Motor-works a few years back, but three of the items were wrong. I called and got a nice women on the phone, she looked up my order and we talked about the messed up parts, she "yeah, It's our fault. We'll be shipping out the right items today."

So I asked "Where can I ship the wrong items back to you?" and she said "No. It was our fault, we'll pay for the shipping and there will be no cost to you. And you can keep the wrong parts." I said thank you, but you can see the companies who put a high value to the customers they sell to.

On the other hand is a vendor who has the worst customer service in the northern hemisphere. I bought some foam sealing from him eleven years ago and since it can with no instructions, I asked the folks in the C3 section for help, he saw my posting and has been harassing me since then. Just Google the name JTKillain and you can see his handiwork. It's been Psychopathic behavior 101 for 11 years now. I apologized to him for anything I said, but he'd rather keep up the web-page of childish name calling. It's a crazy world out there.

But for one single idiot vendor, I have had some truly fabulous sales from a lot of vendors , some www.corvetteforum.com sponsors and some not. But there's a lot of get people out there who are putting customer service at the top of their 'Must Do" lists.
