Default Average engine temp

Had to be one of the nicest days of the year so far. Got the car out for the afternoon. While the air temps have been warmer seems so were the engine temps. It would go as high as 109 c back down to high 90's in traffic or at a stop then back down to 90 When on the move. I don't remember it going this high before. Is there a underlying problem?
What should they be running at?

Not sure what the temp is in F, but usually its your thermostat, thats the easiest to replace. How many miles are on the Vette? depending on your milage could be a water pump issue.

What are you referring to Oil or Water Temperatures? Either way seem a bit to high for no modification to the car. 109 ºC = 228.2 ºF

Clean your radiator out. Blow out any dirt, sand, grass or what ever.
