99 C5 remote lock
did the 99 C5 come with remotes or was that an option , if option how would I get remotes for my car , would like factory but aftermarket remotes are easy to get and I assume cheaper

all will take remotes 97 to 99 only it also has a passage keyless entery
that locks or unlocks the doors when you leave the car and return They are great we use them on all the time Terry

Yes, the '99 came with two remotes and both will have the passive option type remote which makes them a bit more expensive. BTW, '99 was a great year Corvette!

You can also use 2000 remotes on a 97-99. They are cheaper, but they do not have the passive feature. Since the passive remotes have a SUPER high failure rate, I opted for the 2000 remotes on my 97 and 99 when ALL the remotes failed within a one year period.
