need rear rotor help

if you (someone) left them out,the pads will rattle with bumps, and the rotation of the rotor.
Does the rattling stop if your foot is on the brake?
You don't say whether you did the pads or not,but they could have been left out sometime in the past-pads don't come with them,so if one or both got lost,whoever did the pads last probably just did the job without them.

"Caliper Mounting Bracket
There are two springs fitted top and bottom of the caliper mounting bracket. Make sure these remain in place. There’s a further spring which you can see in the picture above that fits inside the caliper. It shouldn’t come out but if you remove it make sure you refit it the correct way round as it holds the brake pads in place when reassembled."
