Picked up a Z16, it already had a cat back system on it with the mufflers completely removed. Looks to be modular and could be put back in.

Anyone have any idea what exhaust this is and what mufflers would fit back in if I didnt feel like it being sooo loud anymore, I kinda like it.

Looks like a custom job. Does not look like any brands out there that I have seen. Good Luck

Looks like someone just grabbed a couple resonators, welded them to a U pipe (actually, the U even looks like two separate pieces welded together) and clamped the contraption onto the exhaust system.

Your Z16 is special. Only 2,025 were produced. FYI, you can find out more information on it and figure you production number here...

http://z16.org/

Find someone in the classified section selling an oem uncut Z16 titanium muffler system. Prices are usually in the $400 range.

Unless the previous owner butchered something else in the exhaust system, it'll bolt right up. The titanium system is lightweight and rust resistant. It'll last forever. A nice sound at idle and under WOT.

2025 made is not that "special", but if the number was a lot lower i couldn't afford one.
