2001 vert: I bought this car about 3 mon. ago and getting it back in shape.I noticed that when i used the windshield wipers and turned them off,the blades would go a 1:00 position stop and do a little jig back and forth and then return back to the full off position.....no big deal?
OK today i got caught in the rain and when i used the delay option, the blades would stop at the 1:00 and wait for the next cycle.
I do all my own work and this has me stumped----the motor should be ok since it does work.
Any ideas on this? Harold

My wipers were doing something similar and it was a intermittent problem, but they would always act up in the rain. I installed a new wiper motor and haven't any problems yet.
Replaced motor--same problem
Im thinking there may be something wrong
with the mechanism that sits on top of motor?
Can some one check there delay wipers and see if
the blades stop at the 1:00 position,or return to the full resting position when in the delay mode?

I know it isn't exactly like my '98 chev Pickup, but I believe the Corvette most likely has a similar circuit board that controls the intermittents and park functions.
Can someone in the know please chime in about this? Is there a circuit board involved?
That's what was wrong with my truck and replacing the board fixed it, not replacing a motor.
