For those contemplating this mod, but reluctant to drill their fenders for the retaining clips, there is an option: supplement the 3M tape that comes on the guards with additional tape, and use 3M Adhesion Promoter 06396. Just make sure you rehearse mating the part to the fender before peeling the tape and using the Promoter---unless you want to find out just how incredibly hard it is to seperate even one sq inch of contact from the fender!! (Like I did).
In a week I'll be leaving the 100deg Desert for 40deg MN via the Rockies through Denver. V1 permitting, I typically cruise at 90+, and run at triple digits for extended periods. If I experience any problems with the splash guard adhesion I'll post up back here.....
Materials needed for the install, and supplementary tape placement:
Agreed. Looks like a nice kit. Source and cost would be nice also.
These are the C6 Z06 rear splash guards. You need to spend several hours with a Dremel and sand paper to get a good fit to our fenders; luckily there's an excellent post by DeeGee that walks you through the trimming process.
The stock C6 guards are different, and are available for front fenders as well.
I got my moldings from Gene at GM Parts House, $101.00 plus freight.
Part numbers are:
15818637, and
15818636.
Ocassionally you will see a set come up for sale on the Forum, often by folks who ran out of patience fitting them
Good Luck!

You wouldn't happen to have a link to the post you reference would you? Search isn't agreeing with me for some reason today. As for my avatart pic...well, that sort of view would not be forum approved for use as my avatar or work safe so to say. Butt, yes...it's a great view to say the least.
I have the APSIS Splash Guards and I did the same 3M Tape/Adhesion promoter, but I also had one screw at the bottom of each of the rear guards. After about 18 months of DD I noticed one day that the right rear guard tape had come loose at the top, so the screw at the bottom may have saved me? I think the water maybe got to it together with the fact that the guard spans two body panels (unlike the front).

The Apsis guards I installed on front weigh at least 4X the GM rears I put on; I assume the Apsis rears are fairly heavy as well. I would not have mounted my front Apsis guards with tape only--too much mass for gravity to work on.
I plan to install a clip on the bottom if I see any evidence of the tape coming loose---it's a good Fail Safe, but you do need to puncture the fender then. I'm betting the C6 Z06 guard with the light weight, extra tape and adhesion promoter will hold at least as well and long as the stock Body Side Molding.
O.K., here's my best shot at pics that show more perspective.
As I had hoped, in bright light the guards virtually disappear:
I'm running 295 35 18s in the rear....
and lowered 1/2" on stock bolts.....
Not the clearest pic, but guards cover the tires extension beyond the stock fender perfectly....drove in light rain yesterday and rear fender was clean!
BTW, car was named by my grandsons for the big, red, nasty dragon in the movie AVATAR.

You drove in the rain?!
Nice pics and nice write up. Something to definitely consider. Are you going to add any to the front wheel wells?
