Here's one I found for 66-67 Corvette side pipe for about $60. http://www.amazon.com/1966-1967-Corv.../dp/B000EVZW3U
May be something to look at.

Also, check LMC Truck and see what they have. Seems I saw one of the Saturday auto shows where they used a aftermarket bexel and just made the collector. Seemed pretty easy if you have the materials and a good welder.

Make them. Use stainless, or titanium, and have a machine shop make them, then rivet them to the body. Otherwise, I bet you'll be paying a couple hundred bucks for them. Go ask the guys at the local roundy-round race shop. I bet they can fab them up for a price. Don't forget your exhaust may expand and contract so you may have to leave some space. May want to talk to an exhaust specialist about that.

Has anyone touch the subject of "flex" on the exhaust? I really like the idea as well, but what effect would the flex of the mufflers have on the side exhaust?

There is no 'side pipe' setup possible on a C5. I don't get the point of this 'side exhaust behind the rear tire' look. What benifit will there be? It's just a 'look' thing, and no mufflers?

This car is a TT.
