This one should be easier than the last one. Last time I was a convoy gunner. This time I am going as a First Sergeant so other than having a few hundred 18 year olds to worry about, it should be a lot easier. Wife has already told me that she is not going to carry in any heavy car part boxes while I am gone.
If you're ever in the Helmand were us Marines reside look up us Dark Horse boys at 3/5. We'll keep you safe in Taliban Land. Depending on your definition of safe of course, the Amry and AF guys have a slightly different opinion. Semper Fidelis.
My son just got back from Kandahar w/101st from Fort Campbell I'm very proud of him Of you and all the other men and woman the help to keep this country safe.
My Hat is off to you be safe
I like the way you think....I got a buddy of mine, in the army reserve, and whenever he came back from his tour of duty he bought a new car. He went from a G35 to a newer G35 to a EVO and went again and bought a crotch rocket. (deployed 4x) Be safe out there.....
Which country you heading to? And I don't believe you said which branch either.
I'm actually closing in on the end of my deployment to Iraq (Army). Hopefully when I return I'll be a first time vette owner myself.
Anyway, be safe, take care.
Everyone says keep your head down. I like to say, keep your head up. You and I both know it can be discouraging over here sometimes. Just know, willing people like you mean that people like me can go home -- to my son just born last month. Thank you for your service. God Bless.
