Do you guys think i should add. the stripes to the hood or remove the stripes off the car?? the new stripes will be the same design as the old stripes on the inside center of the hood

IMO, I would add the stripes since you already have them started on the rest of the car. I would bring the stripes down from top, continue on to the hood on the inner part of the scoop area, spaced to match top of car, but don't bring them past inner hood onto outside raised scoop - keep that area clean...That way the stripes are carried thru out the car as a matched paint set, but too much over poewring the lines of the hood - looks great though on the car, but again JMO....
