Default Remote Key Case Cover
I just bought a aftermarket remote key case it says it works for all Chevrolet cars but i doubt it, but it was $10 if it doesn't work i'll just save it for another car. Do you think it will work?

Does the key have a resistor pellet in it?

required definitely. without it the sensor will not recognize the key even if it is properly cut.
