its like that a lot on sportbikes. a lot of times i didnt get waves. then i would just switch to one finger hoping they looked in their mirrors.
I had this old 1980 light blue moped that I would ride around in my full race leathers with. I would do the gayest wave i possibly could to guys on harleys. they never waved back

I had a no wave experience yesterday no waves 3, C6 Vetts and got waves from 1 Viper, 1 Porsche, 1 BMW M and a thumbs up. Maybe they don't know or some are just Aholes.

When I'm in my C5 I wave at 'em all. Even C6 drivers wave back. When I'm in my C6 I wave at 'em all. Even C5 drivers wave back.
Maybe here in So. Calif. we have a lot of "wavers". Don't know for sure but I'll keep it up.

Don't let it bother you - it's not just confined to C6 owners - there are a lot of C1-C5 drivers that do the same thing.

I always wave...if someone waves back, they're a Corvette person and they get it.
If not...I figure they're not and they don't. Their loss.

I give a wave to all Vettes. If they wave thats great. If not, thats OK too. I have passed Vettes before and did not notice them until it was to late to wave. It's nothing to worry about my brother. Keep on waving.

Late money
When you get no reply and you know they saw you chuck it up to the Vette experience being totally new to them. Forgive them for they have sinned.
It should be in the owners manual but it's as thick as a phone book already. That same person wouldn't read it anyway.

I have c5 z and a c6 z and I think most c6 guys are dicks ..... When I go to car shows they get in huddle and talk **** .... I'm ashamed of em .c5 guys are much nicer overall ... A lot of car guys know what I'm talking about. That sucks cus they label me as a ***** when I'm out in the c6. It sucks

In San Diego, I'd say 50% of the Corvette Drivers I run across, wave. Just the nature of the beast.

Driving to local auto show Friday afternoon and I stop at a redlight next to a white C5 with Florida plates. (I'm in Kentucky) I said jokingly, "You drove a long way to an auto show in a small town." He replied, "That's why I'm here." The light changed and he drove away and WAVED! I was so stunned, I almost forgot to wave back at him.
