I am not the first one to do this by any means but I see a lot of guys going with C6 emblems and this looks better to me than the C5 emblem. Just remove and cut the circle with a razor knife and then put some 3m tape on the back and stick them back on here is my front.
I am thinking of putting the *********** 5.0 Emblem ******* on the sides of mine... Maybe changing the C5 logo's for the Ford logo and on the rear glass put a decal that say Ford Tough!!!!!!

Thats kinda weird but a Mercedes emblem would look awesome
I have been hearing a lot of crap about this from some people. It's your car do what you want, there will always be haters. oh and to those who don't think it's right
1- C5 guys don't do this because they "can't afford a C6". That is the stupidest thing I have heard said about this. Ever think us C5 guys prefer the body style more?
2- It's still a Corvette emblem.
3- If it's not your car, why care so much as to complain? These cars are all about personalization. I love hanging out with my Vette buddies because all of are cars are unique to our own tastes, not all the same.
just wanted to say my opinion. I think it looks great!

It looks good to me....I like the American/checkered flag inserts too though, and I'd change in a heartbeat if someone were to make the same quality insert with "Jake" skulls and the checkered flag...
I did that mod years ago, just because I liked it better and was a lot easier to keep clean. Removed the rear emblem completely for a smoother look.
I've had seven vettes since 1976 and all of them had crossed flags in one form or another, all slightly different. If anything the crossed flags on the vettes in the 80's started to look alot like the T-Bird's emblem.
Personalizing a car has always been a way to bring out the personality of the owner and make it their car and to their taste. The na sayers out there can keep their car just like it came from the factory if that is what they like. Heck, it might be worth something in 35 years.
I have a C6 friend that bugs me about getting a C6. He says I should get rid of that Transvette C5. He thinks all C5's look just like a Trans Am. Sure I could get a C6, but I like the C5's longer, wider look better. Like they say different strokes for different folks. I'm happy with my C5. He can keep his bone stock C6.

If your friend honestly thinks a C5 looks like as Trans Am (and he is not simply trying to pad his ego with the attack), that is all the evidence required to label him mentally retarded.
