Oem wheels

I'd like to see any oem wheels that started life with a factory applied finish that you stripped and then polished. Wagons, thin spokes, Z06, doesn't matter. I'm just interested to know if any of you have done this, what the results were, time involved, and of course most of all pics.

I'm one of the lucky ones who's car came with the polished aluminum thinspokes. I think polished aluminum looks fantastic.

Most Corvette Parts and Accessory companies will do a wheel exchange for chrome.

Even then, GM clearcoats the polished wheels. Over time the clearcoat becomes dull. You won't ever see nicer wheels than the ones that have been stripped and repolished.

Especially if you don't mind a few stress cracks on the thinspokes...
