All 6 speed C5's came with a 3:42 rear end. Cars that came with an auto trans came standard with a 2:73 rear. An optional 3:15 was available for auto's, and that will be listed on the glove box.
Look on glove box, and then look here for RPO codes (regular production options) to decipher those codes.

On your MN6 car - 4th gear @ 70mph, your RPM's /1000 will come pretty close to your gear ratio.
In other words - 3420 rpm @ 70mph would be a 3.42 ratio. 4th gear is 1:1.
Also - on the RPO sticker on the glove box door you should see option code GU6 for the 3.42 gear set.
