I used BB on my Vette last June right after finding out about it on CF. Boy, did it make a difference on those little annoying marks on the front and rockers! Going to apply it again next month. I'm too big a coward to use clay even though mine has a bunch of those little barely visible scratches.

You guys do realize your buffing your clear coat and not your paint. Your clear coat isnt black..All the BB does is color in scratches and do the basic things a wax does. Dye your turtle wax black and bam you got the same result. Its somewhat of a hoax.

i believe all the clay does is remove stuck on surface particles. it is really no big deal. you need to remove any contamination before you polish or put wax on or all you will do is scratch the clearcoat. i noticed all those fine scratches that get in any paint job over time. i clayed, then i used swirl remover until the scratches were gone. then i used polish followed by machine wax and then a good carnuba. it looks fabulous
