1997 c5, black on black/torch red. 210,000 miles. It had been in a minor fender bender, some damage to the hood and fender. I bought it this way to save $, had new bodyparts professionally installed, and while they had the body off had a different Ls1 and tranny swapped in, both with about 40k miles on em. Car runs smooth, little rough on the inside but nothing that a little TLC couldnt handle. No cracking in leather or anything. Paint is decent, could use a buff job, light swirling in clear. Title is clear.

You'll be lucky to get 9k I would safely say 7-8500
I just bought a 99 with a completely clean carfax, 75k original miles, a Callaway Honker, and Magnaflows for $11k. I think $11-13 for this car is in fantasy land. The bottom has fallen out on pre-2001 C5's. If the accident shows up on a carfax, $7500. If the carfax is clean, $8500.

Yes I did. And she had it for sale for five months and couldn't get $12k for it. I told her I had a buyer at $11k (without telling her it was me) and she said yes - BEFORE I told her it was me. I didn't want her to feel obligated to sell it to me for less. She sold it at the price that the market had set for it. Now, if she had waited for summer, maybe she could have sold it for a little more.
im gonna sell it for 10, had a kid who wanted it, paid 10 for it, and left with it, only to decide he couldnt afford it and wanted to bring it back. me being the nice guy i am let him get his money back.
With that many miles, it might be tuff to sell even if the motor has been changed out. I don't think it would bring 10,000 in my neck of the woods. Although I've seen 99s in the 40/50 thousand mile range for 22/23 grand. My son-in-law has found a 11,000 mile 06 C6 with intake and Corsa exhaust for 25,000. I told him he better buy it quick.

JMO, but I think 7500-9K. Ebay it you never know if you will find someone to pay more. If you have the factory hood put it back on and rip off the tail that's on the rear.
Find a factory black hood. Loose the black wheels for something that shines, spruce up the interior as needed and show maintanence records if youn have them. Ask $9900. and hope for $8000 to 8500.

You really have a thing with the color black ? I'd try finishing the interior and buff the paint. The accident, and motor swap I think is going to hurt you. There's no easy way to explain the two tasks ? Good Luck !
