hood prop rod?
i remember seeing door ones for sale. but does anyone make one for the hood?
I have an aftermarket MCM hood. i was recently at a car show where it was windy, and it kept closing my hood.
just looking for some options.

Not sure about a prop rod but the OEM hood risers are probably losing pressure and time to be replaced. I'm going to have to replace mine as well for the same reason.

This is what some of the shops use. It has a flag to remind you to remove it too.

gas shocks lost correct pressure and are beginning to fail.

i could leave the hood open for weeks, and it wont fall. its because of the wind that it does it (all the vettes were having this issue at the show) the shocks are fine.
