Car locks it self???
A few days ago I changed out my Battery in my Key Fob... After I did this the car has been locking its self?? The remote works But then the car will keep locking its self and honking the horn every few minute Unless you leave the key in it...It has never done this before..What could it be?? Hope someone can help Ive tried everything I know..

Same here with battery replacement and self lock. Mine is a '97 and I exercised the passive lock switch on my fob on and off several times. I believe passive mode, which I don't use, became engaged during battery replacement. Mines now fine. Good luck.

Clean the passive lock slide switch. Just exercising it should get it to work properly at least temporarily. The fob is sending a passive lock signal even though presumably you have it off. It's just a dirty contact in the slide. It also helps if you note the year of your car in the question if you want help so everyone doesn't have to go search your profile to find out.
