Just ordered a set of red fender stripes for my 03 EB Z. I have the mod red interior and I'm trying to tie it together a little better than it is now (mod red wouldn't have been my first choice but it's growing on me). Anyways, just curious who has done an install on these? If you have some advice please feel free to share. My only experience with graphics has been lettering and window decals. I had some cosmetic damage due to the recent tornados in the southeast and as a result I got new paint but i'm a little nervous about jackin it up.
Also, anybody who has these done throw up some pics. Interested to see some different looks.
Had mine put on by a tint shop they did it for free. I tried a couple of times but it looked like crap when I was done. I ended up taking mine off got tired of seeing neons and cobalts even a avalanche with them so now I'm without my stripes. Kinda miss them

Thanks guys.
#1 buy tint solution kit from any auto parts store, spray tint solution on the area where the strip goes and spray the back of the strip while peeling it back the solution will keep the adhesive from sticking to any thing . lay it on the area and you will be able to slide it around get it were you want it and then use the squeegy in the kit and smooth it out and get the solution out from under the stripe, it will dry in 10 min. and your done
#2 dont do it outside a little breeze can cause you to have a fit when your peeling it back

looks great guys. thanks for the advice. I went back forth on it myself but what the hell... If it looks bad, its only 30 bucks so no big deal. I think it adds a nice aggressive look without being over the top. Going to do it this week and I'll post pictures when it's finished.
Auburn fan? haha I think that anything orange is tough to pull off on the vette without some major work... too many red accents and you can't mix the two IMHO.

War Eagle!
You make a good point about the red accents. My wife seems to think the stripes are "too busy" and I tend to agree. I just like the heritage and I feel like GM dropped the ball with go GS edition in the 5th gen.
Yes, I agree. I've never done any kind of stripes before and my fiance is gonna be pissed haha But if I don't give it a shot it's going to bug me so might as well! By the way, I'm a VT Hokie... have a good friend that's down there at Auburn now. She loves it.
