As long as your protecting the radiator support with Fangs, may as well keep the radiator cool with a Cool It v2 or v3!

Just ordered a black set for my 2006 silver Corvette. I just read the instructions you have linked earlier in this thread. Hate to be a nit-picker, however, your instructions say to keep the drill and then the screw "Parallel" to the skid plate. I think what you mean is to keep it "Perpendicular."

Just put them on, didn't take long. Some notes:
1) I put the car up on my Rhino Ramps.
2) The end that has the screw hole the furthest from the end goes forward.
3) Put it on with it too far forward, then slide it back until it hits the welded piece on the side of the skid.
4) With the fang exactly where you want it, take a punch and punch an ident on the back hole. I skipped the part of marking it since I didn't have a marker with me.
5) Take off the fang and drill the rear hole. Then using the silver self tapping screw, screw it in with oil. I actually used WD40 and it worked fine.
6) Install the fang, put in the screw and using your punch, mark the front hole. Repeat number 4 for the front hole.
7) Use carb or electrical cleaner and clean off the holes and the black screw if you used it already in the oily hole.
8) Install the fang using the black screws with blue loctite.

Very easy and a very nice product. I had really scared up the skids, the left skid was basically silver from rubbing all the paint off.

Just one downside to the fangs. YOU CAN'T SEE THEM unless you lay down in front of the car and they DO LOOK SO GOOD!!!!

Note: Looking at the posting times, it took me about 30 minutes to do everything.

I can't wait to get them on my car. My skid plates are in sad shape and I am sick of using touch-up paint to keep them looking presentable. I really think these are a must for any lowered Vette......
