Are these "FANGS" stronger and more durable than the skid bars themself? Or do they just take the beating skid bars normally do and will eventually need replacing?

They're just (smooth) plastic. The idea is that they will slide over obstacles that would normally tear up your lower radiator support. With enough abuse they'd probably have to be replaced.

Your on the money Dope!
If one could ware the Fangs out it would take a very long time.
I'm sure you would be satisfied with how long they last.
We have a customer satisfaction guarantee so if someone was not
happy we will replace them.
So far no one has been unhappy.

Mine are scraped up but holding strong. Definitely the best skid bar solution, imo.

I have them and I've "used" them too many times already. I'm REALLY glad they're up there though. If not, I'd be replacing that frame piece by now.

SUPER easy install too. Notice I have a link to them in my sig - that's how much I like them!

Just got my Fangs. Can hardly wait to not hear my bars scraping horribly. On second thought maybe I can wait as long as it takes.

How do the Fangs hold up to the parking lot cement blocks? As careful as I try to be, I seem to still hit them with regularity.

I just don't park that close to the curb. It's not like the C5 sticks out the back like the king-cab pickups that invariably park next to me. So what if I'm a foot or two from the cement block?

[COLOR="Blue"]Hi Bills03Coupe,

The Fangs hold up fine, that’s what they designed for. Chances of wearing them out is slim and if you do and aren't satisfied with how with how long they lasted we will give you a new pair. We have a customer satisfaction guarantee!
