Just talked to Pat. He'll be on to reply later tonight!
Is your black chrome finish actual black chrome or black chrome "look" powder coat? If it's actual black chrome, how did you get around the spotting issue? Every other place I've seen that sells black chrome parts has a disclaimer to the effect of "not for street driven vehicles - for show car use only."

I bought mine from a different vendor and I am not happy with it. My FRCs do not snap in, and the front has rubbed off and has a small crack in it do to hitting the underside of the hood liner, and it scratches very easily. I spoke with the vendor and he tried to tell me that I installed it wrong! Here are some pics!
I hope this plennum cover is designed better than the one I have?
Sorry to hear about your plenum cover. We use automotive UV cleat coat on the parts so there should be no scratching. The only thing needed to keep the chrome looking good is spray detailer or a damp micrfiber cloth. NEVER use chrome polish on my chrome as the abrasives in the polish will scratch the clear. Even it it does get scratched you can buff it out just like the finish on your paint. The clear is rated to 350 degrees.
The one you have looks like the runners are smooth wheras my design has very defined runners like the intake itself. Mine was molded off an actual manifold for a very snug fit with no rubbing on the hoodliner.
I stand behind my products 100% and have a "No Hassle" Warranty/Return policy.

Thanks just ordered a black chrome one. Any chance you can do black chrome letter inserts for the LS3 fuel rail covers? Or convert the regular chrome ones you can buy to black chrome?
