Hey guys, I'm about to purchase a new 1998 c5 for $17500. This vehicle has 127000 klm and seem to ne in good shape. However the tranny and clutch have already been replaced and I was wondering if this may raise a few red flag with you?

Well, I would want to know how the car was treated - if it was abused and that's the reason the tranny/clutch went out, I would reconsider the purchase.
I'd say that a new clutch/tranny is not unreasonable for a new clutch at that mileage (79000 miles), although it's a tad early for the transmission. I'd see that as a plus rather than a worry. I assume if you're talking klicks its a Canadian car?
