My Brother-in-Law has asked me to look into the worth of his 2002 Z06 Corvette. It has 24,000 miles. Can anyone give me some insights? Thanks so much!!!
I follow the market very closely, and have for the past year and a half or so. 2002 Z06's are sitting in the 18k-22.5k range right now depending on condition an mileage. I use these prices as prices they are SELLING at, not what peoplea are asking. You can see people asking 30k for them, but those cars remain in their garage. I bought my 2002 with 50k as a super clean car, with headers, xpipe, intake, retune and brand new tires for 17.5k last Feb. I got a deal for sure. By the sounds of this car, with low miles, as long as it's stock without some gaudy mods done or something, you'd realistically pull 21k-22k, maybe a little more if you came across the right buyer, but it's pushing it.
Keep in mind, yellows pull more cash generally because they were the only upgrade option when new, in that yellow cars cost more. 22k sounds nice for a nice yellow though!
OP, also keep in mind, this is generally the last year many banks will finance a 2002 Z06. Many banks won't put a loan out on a car beyond 10 years old, and that time is coming. After that it's cash only buyers. Finding buyers at 20k+ will get tougher soon in an already tough market.

Adjust for location, condition and milage accordingly.
