If your radiator is over 6 years, you may want to consider taking the radiator out of the car, and having a shop dip the radiator in to very hot water, to clean the fins.

So much crap, sand, dirt, grass, mickyDs bags, dead things get into and clog the fins. Most ppl dont notice the slow temp climbing.

First thing they do and the INCORRECT thing they do is put a lower T-stat on. NO. clean the radiator and ac condenser out

Cleaning your radiator fins out once a year makes a huge difference to your cars cooling abilities.

A fairly decent job can be done with the radiator on the car. Take an aluminum arrow shaft cut down several inches, close off one end in a vice, drill 3 or 4 small holes inline near the top end, put 1/4" rubber hose at the bottom end fed by a good compressor. This will slip between the fans and radiator. The aluminum shaft isn't as likely to damage the radiator as a steel wand. You'll be amazed at what comes out. Wear goggles and breathing protection.
