I can turn the wheel but the car shuts off at 2 MPH what should i do what is causing this now i called the mechanic and he doesnt think its the colum lock just want some input Please help me

Well its about the same size but no sticker and the wires are just black with a white stripe heres another question could i put i bipass in with the computer still thinking the colum is locked or do i need to get the code cleared by the gm dealer first
Scroll down until you find the section on column lock. There are also some links with more info. There is TONS of info on this subject. Use the search function in the red tool bar above. I think the column lock has to be in the retracted (unlocked) position for the CLB to work. Good luck.
