Me & a/c ducts
I've owned my Vette a little over six years now, and tonight coming home I hit my second a/c duct. Someone drop BIG square metal a/c duct in the middle of the road and I didn't see it until it was too late. Smash it up pretty good and got it stuck under my front end, busted up the plate cover and scraped up the bumper. Hopefully it can be buffed out,and now I can do that screened out look in the plate filler. Sorry about not having pics, but it just happened and the ones I took with the phone look like crap. Anyway sh*t happens to DD, and I'll just get it fixed. Thanks for reading and listening. L8R ZFLASH

Sorry to hear that, hope not too much damage. There were parts of a plastic chair on the fwy last night that I barely dodged coming home from work. The idiot woman in the lane next to me, oblivious to the debris, ends up hitting part of the chair and sends it flying back at me. Luckily, it shot under the car and didn't hit the side. As you say, thats the trials and tribulations of a DD.

Just got back from the body shop, buffed out the scrapes and scratches and it looks pretty good. Found a couple of stress fractures, but to the normal people out there they wouldn't be able to tell. Now us Vette folks you can tell, we're going to do the screened plate cover and see what it looks like. That was busted up, we're going to cut out above and below CORVETTE and install the screens in the gaps. If it doesn't look right, I'll just finally put my plate on or get a new cover.
