Default CEL, Expensive fix?

CEL light today. Ran codes and got these: P0171 and P1571. Are these something super critical and is it an expensive fix. Do these have any relation to a TCM - NO COM. I know about this, ECBM is not powering up. ABSFixer cannot repair. Will have to replace the unit at some point. but if its causing other problems......

I can't speak for the 1571 code as I know nothing on it. The P0171 code however is probably your problem. First thing to look for is a vacuum leak. One of the most common items is the air bridge to the intake, comes of the bottom of the intake. Another item to look at is the PCV connection tube to the intake.

1571 does have some thing to do with the TCS no comm. maybe you have code 1040 as well? I had those codes when my EBCM was out of car for repair. Installed EBCM and codes are gone. Check connections and make sure the contacts are clean, that harness as been known to come loose so I've read
