I am having a problem with my 97 C5. I just recharged my Freon because it was a little low and i noticed that my driver side temp is not coming out cold as my passenger side. Both temps are set on the same temperature. Is there a sensor that may have gone bad? and if so where is this located?
can't say for certain, but that is usually a condition where the gates (doors) directing air flow don't either open fully or close fully to provide proper airflow. it has been discussed on the forum previously and you will probably be able to get enough information by using the search function.
First thing would be to check for codes? Second thing, if it blows cold on the pass side and only less cool on the drivers, its usually low on freon. Is it dual or manual?
I agree about the possibility of the refrigerant being low if it's a dual. Had the same problem before. Not sure how you checked it to know that it is not low.

2nd this comment. Check the low side and high side. I just had this problem. I was low on Freon. I did get to take the entire dash out, so that was fun!:
