Default What is this??????
Does anyone have any info on this, such as:
1. what year
2. Stock/Z06 or?
3. Is it worth while using
I was told it was part of a Z06 titanium exhaust but have no idea.

Any info would be appreciated.

The Titanium exhaust is the catback on the Z06's-this is a pic. of the cats and midpipe section.

So is this a titanium pipe? The small cans (where it bolts to the manifold) are the cats, right? So what are the larger cans & what are they for. Can this be used with stock mufflers or do the have to be Ti's. If I can't use them, what are they worth?

Thats what is called the H-pipe, made of stainless steel. The small cats are pre-cats or pup cats. The Z06's do not have pup cats. The Cat back portion of the exhaust is Titanium.

I purchased a Z06 H pipe (no pups) and welded in a Bassani X-pipe for my system. It makes the Corsa Indy's sing a bit sweeter.



I've seen the stock H pipes for sale from $5 to $100. I gave mine away for someone to cut up and use the components.

So It's not worth messing with, right? What are the 2 larger (looks like mufflers to me) on the H-pipe?

Those are cats too, std on all C5's.

Only worth messing with if you need to replace yours.
