Default So how many people drive their Corvette daily?

Just curious if this is your daily driver or is it just a weekend car for you?

Mine will be a daily driver... but I only work a mile from my home and everything is very close to me (like stores ect..)

Bought mine with the intent of it only being a toy. It's never been washed or in the rain in the 10+ years I've owned it.

I had no choice. I knew that to help fund a Corvette, I needed to get rid of my daily car - a Toyota Camry. (Yeah, big decision, right?)

Though I have been on the track twice and in ten car shows, I bought this car to drive. We've put over three thousand miles on it just for trips to see family.

The car has seen snow, plenty of rain, and lots of sun beating down on it. I just installed a Corsa exhaust, which makes my daily commute to work a blast. Lots of straight-aways and plenty of curvy roads to boot.

Yeah I drive it daily - it is a car, after all.

I daily drive my C5, there's no reason not to. It's a hell of a lot more fun than my truck. Guys I work with also daily drive a Viper GTS and a C6ZO6.

I work from home, but I drive a LOT. My Corvette makes the fact that I have to drive more of an excuse to drive. If I had to drive around a beater, I'd likely give up my license.

I put 16K miles a year on my car and, again, I work from home.

I drive mine to work everyday as long as its not raining. (or winter)
I live on a dirt road and don't want to run it up and down muddy roads.

It's a blast to drive, I do 75 miles round trip everyday

My user name says it all. I live 2 miles from the nearest paved road. It takes me 25 minutes to get from my garage to the pavement, so that effectively limits how often my Vette gets driven.

I see no fun in having an awesome car if it just sits in the garage while i drive something of lesser fun/style/power.

Unless i owned 2 Vette's that is

Daily Driver, 1998 with 140,000+ miles. Too much fun driving this car, not to drive it.

It has been my most reliable car ever, only 3 problems: one headlight gear, one oil pressure sensor, and one plastic radiator "fill tank".

Live in Fl, weather is beautiful. '03 Z06. When it rains, it's over in a few minutes (well except the occasional hurricane). Why would I drive anything else. Only time I drive the Suburban is to go to Home Depot or if I need to shuttle a bunch of people.

Mine is not a daily driver - just the occasional fair weather cruise.
