No! Mine (4) are garage art to look at when having my morning coffee and newspaper.

That is a step higher than garage queen.

After I get all 50 states in by next season on my motorcycle rides then I will repeat with the Vette's.

What do you consider a considerable amount of snow? Most people would say they would consider driving their car in zero inches of snow.

I consider a "considerable" amount of snow 6 inches plus. But iv driven my vette in about 4 -5 inches of snow. Just stay out of the throttle and be smart.

Z71 for winter... Vette for spring, summer, fall.

DD here, 100 miles a day rain, shine, sleet or snow. For me, it was an easy choice- my commute is 95% highway against traffic. I average 75 mph and 25 mpg in my Z!

My buddy drives his 01' rain, snow or shine. He made it through all last winter (one of the more severe ones in recent history for MT) without an issue, and a non functioning EBCM. I on the other hand, still managed to put my Accord in a ditch.

We all know that if you don't drive your Vette every day, you can't be enjoying it. It won't melt and it was meant to be driven.

I seem to remember on a firearms forum someone said that a shotgun with a nickel-plated barrel, gold-plated, hand engraved receiver and a custom fitted hand chiseled stock could never be enjoyed if it never once had a shell loaded and the trigger pulled. There's a connection here - I just can't seem to make it.

My Z06 is kinda like fine wine.... Normally meant to be sipped and enjoyed on weekends. I differ a little because I like to grab the entire bottle and tip it up and take a big drink on weekends ! .

I can't take my car to work in the week anyhow. My tool box will not fit...

Sure makes my day when I get home from work on a Friday knowing I'm going for a cruise soon....

Its no fun at all driving in the rain. I get no enjoyment out of it because I can't drive it nearly as hard in the turns. High speed turns are my favorite . I can't understand how anyone "enjoys" driving these car's in the rain. How can you really enjoy the maximum performance "safely" in rain ?

That's why i don't bother driving in the rain. Its much more fun to drive when its dry...

I originally bought it to be a Toy.... And a Toy it shall be......... ............

Mine was a DD for the first 7 years. Now it's a weekend car and my DD is a JCW MINI Clubman. Not quite as much hp but still fun to drive. I love the factory turbo when it hits 20 psi.

When I had two cars I hated to drive the camry. So now the vette is my only car. I drive it anywhere I want to go.

When not on the bike, it's the vette, but I don't like to DD the bike so the vette is the DD, bike is the toy!!

Wouln't have it any other way, the Suburban sits in the driveway 99% of the time. though my C5 has many scars, I love driving it and I drive it very hard.

Default I plan on it being a daily driver

I just bought a '99 with the intent of it being a car that I can enjoy. I have had it for a week and it has gone to work with me each day and I will probably continue to do this throughout the spring, summer and fall. Late fall, it will be tucked away, just waiting to be driven next year.

As I grew up we always had at least vette in the garage... and they were always just for the weekend when all conditions were perfect. I recall one year the road being redone and non of the 3 corvettes were taken out of the garage all year. I swore when I got a vette, I would DRIVE it.

That said, the car isn't much fun in the rain, and on days that look like it’s going to be bad, I may start driving my truck, but if the trip to or from work is going to have nice weather, I will be in my vette.

Cheers,
Steve
