In the latest camaro now magazine, they put an ls9 blower on a ls7 and kept manifolds cuz headers made less HP but made more torque. They reused them on the ls9. If the can support blown 640hp on bigger cube engines, they should flow plenty good for a h/c/I 346. Just my. 02

That is a gamble. where LG Pro LTs WILL get the flow you want. so will Kooks 1 7/8s, AMR 1 7/8s

Not the first time I've seen an FI setup use shorties over LT's. Like I said before...IMO, the LS7 manifolds are comparable to a set of shorties.
Again, not trying to dissuade you from making your decision...but I have seen nothing to convince me that they are any better than a set of shorties. Perhaps the additional gains you're seeing are a result of incorporating the 3" mid-pipe? Not everyone that swaps to the LS7 manifolds also swaps in the mid-pipe. Could be some more HP there?

I have them with a aftermarket x pipe and I would bet anything my setup puts down similar numbers to a comparable car with LTs and probably more once the cats are removed. The only negative is the weight.
With all due respect, I like hearing real world facts based on proven emperical data...not unqualified statments based on nothing more than one's opinion. Just my $0.02...
Sounds like you've convinced yourself...let us all know what real world results you get. Before & after dyno's w/o changing the existing tune, 1/4 mile ET's and trap speeds, etc.
I sure will. Not before and after dyno but trap speed for sure. I just like hearing what people thought of them who have used them and with experience. Which is why I made the thread asking who IS using them.

So 11/11 on stock c5 untuned with cats. I'm head cam intake without cats and will get retuned. If I make 20 ill be happy for $200 that I can get my money back on if not make money.

I'm gonna try to dyne before and after but I doubt it. For sure after
Talk to your dyno tuner...they may be real interested in before and after results for these manifolds as well. I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing a baseline "before" run.

That's about what longtubes make on a stock car. The longtubes in themselves are only good for 10-15 on a bolt on only car and another 5 or so with a tune.
