I Finally Got One!!!

Yeah, I'm happy! It's a 2004 LeMans Commemorative Edition Convertible with only 1,316 miles! Family says it still smells like a new car. Well, it basically IS still a new car... Here's a few pix:

YEAH, it has the F55 option!!!

The top works...

I love it, can't wait, I've wanted a Corvette for over 50 years! Thanks to many people on this forum, I was able to wring out my thoughts, make good decisions on what to buy, and stuck to my final decision. I especially like that CO's front plate has a perfect spot, unlike the C6es. Even my wife approves, especially since I'm not wasting money on the instant depreciation an actual "new" car would have the moment we drove it off the lot. And, I saved about 35 grand! Insurance is under $500/year & state plates under $100/yr instead of about $600/yr for the first 5+...
Thanks again folks, I'm sure I'll have many more questions as time goes by, the car will be here hopefully by the end of next week, or the beginning of the following week...

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
It's amazing, there are several '04s out there with low miles, one on eBay like this one with only 67 miles, but with a manual tranny (I can't use a clutch, numb left foot) and no F55 (mag ride select), another in FL, 650 mi with all the options mine has, but not a CE (mag red) and a couple $k more than I paid http://www.usedcorvettesforsale.com/...tte-37567.html and so on... This is the ONLY exact low-mileage car I've been able to find in the last 3 months, after I decided exactly what I wanted. So, I got lucky, and paid less than I was willing to, and the seller is even splitting the shipping with me, a very nice guy too, as are most proud Corvette owners. I would LOVE to go fly up and drive back, but there's just no way my back would handle that long a trip, we have 4 dogs that would go nuts if we had anyone else care for them for any length of time, and 3 of them are fairly new rescues, so it wouldn't be right, even if I could do it. But, we'll take some afternoon drives in the mountains for a couple of hours, and I can deal with that, thanks to the manual lumber adjusters on the seats. I made sure the car had that feature, my GMC van has 'em, and they help a lot! Okay, onward!!! Thanks everyone, again!
