I've had both. I like the corsa better. Corsa does not drone. The Borlas would make you go insane on a hwy cruise. Corsa is pretty quiet driving around...until you open it up. In my opion louder than the borals at WOT.
I'm running Borla Quad Tip stingers on my 02 Z06. I love the sound. There was some drone in the cab before I purchased a Partition/Divider. Drone problem solved. Great ground pounding muscle car sound!
Long-tube headers, catted x-pipe, and 2-tip Borla Stingers on my car. Drone? Meh. Not bad, especially with the partition installed. The Borlas sound closest to the old "Flowmasters on a 5.0L Mustang" sound that I have always loved. Nice and deep musclecar tone. Corsas (and many others) sound very raspy when accelerating. When decelerating, they sound just terrible. Like the cackling sound glasspacks make. I hate that sound. Reminds me of a muffler with a hole in it.
I had Borla Stingers on an otherwise stock car, and loved them, even though they popped on decel, and resonated the trunk area at low revs. As soon as I installed LTs, off came the Stingers, and on went Magnaflows/offroad X pipe. Much quieter, and even deeper tone than the Borlas, but after a while, they seemed too quiet. Even after the H/C/I stuff, sweet sound, but mellow. One of our vendors (now out of business) had a sale (half price!) on Corsa systems, so I bought a Pace Car with Daytona tips. (two huge ovals) Loved the way it sounded, but w/o cats, were too loud. Part of the sound came from the tips I loved, but acted like trumpets. So then I installed HF cats, and it was much better. Borla Stingers/Corsa Pace Cars biggest difference is tone and resonation. The Corsas are pitched higher, and don't drone at all. Stingers are deeper, and drone some, even with a partition. B&B Bullets are said to be even worse, but I haven't had them. I made my present choice because of looks, but I'm not complaining about the sound. It's just different than others. I think the same systems with different tips will sound different, too.
Borla Stingers drone. A lot. With headers they are almost unbearable at 1800rpm or so.
Having said that I have run Stingers twice and Borla XR's twice before. The sound at idle and WOT is pure heaven
Corsa is slightly more sophisticated and less thrilling to my crass and clumsy ears.
I have Borla Touring quad tip exhaust system and LT-headers with x-pipe, and there is no drone whatsoever at any rpm level.
However, this is a less aggressive (more quiet) setup than the Borla Stingers.
A friend of mine has Corsa exhaust, and it sounds more exotic. Borla, on the other hand, offers deeper "muscle-car" sound at wot.
It's just a matter of personal preference.
In my opinion, it's really hard to pick between the two exhaust-brands since both are high-quality, similar in price, and very well known.
I run Corsa Extremes hooked to a Magnaflow X-Pipe. Quality of the the system is very good.
Soundwise- much improvement over the overly tame Z06 Ti oem exhaust.
Decent idle sounds and good WOT and no detectable drone. However, after owning the system for 2 plus years I'd say a bit too tame for my liking. I may be adding LT Headers - if I do, I will then re-evaluate.
Mind you the Corsa Extremes are engineered similarly to the B&B PRT's- so they are straight thru at WOT.
thanks guys think i will probably get the corsa's with magnaflow x pipe i have on the car now. no drone and great sound also no poping on decel. thanks every one you gave me exactly the right testimonials for each systems. larry

Headers will definitely give you a deeper, louder sound through the Extremes. Check out my vid. I have LG long tubes, cam, high-flow cats and Extremes:
Dude, is your McLeod twin-disk clutch really as smooth as the video makes it seem? My stupid RPS twin-disk is noisy as hell, impossible to engage smoothly, and makes street driving a chore.

If you're RPS is like mine, you have about 1/4" of engagement range, and I have a Tick, which pumps more fluid. No real added noise, though, in my case.

I have a Corsa Extreme which is their most aggressive system - it's OK. I do not have LT Headers. Frankly, in hindsight I wish I had the Borla's or B&B Bullets. The Corsa's are too mild even in their most aggresive form.
That said- the Z06 OEM Ti's are for old ladies....they are plain way too mild.

Must Have Z you have the EXACT exhaust setup as i do. To include the headers. Lol sounds the exact same. I LOVE IT! My cam is a 233/239 on a 113. No vid yet tho. Have you noticed how the exhaust note will change under 2k rpms the hotter the exhaust pipes become??? I can even hear the difference in the video
