Default Rotors

[I] am wanting to replace my wagon wheels, but I have
decided to replace the stock rotors first. What is a good
replacment? I don't track the car, so that is not a consideration.
I am mainly looking for a good performing rotor that will look good
behind some new wheels.
thanks--jerry

I just put on drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads from brakemotive. I drove from Indiana to North Carolina Sat. and so far so good. I don't track either, just wanted something that work well and look good. Don't know what they will be like in a year or so, but like I said, so far so good.

You have a ton of choices out there. I researched this last year before I changed mine out from the originals. It depends if you like the look of solid, drilled, slotted or drilled and slotted. Whatever you chose remember that a zinc coated rotor will not rust as readily and will look good longer with a whole lot less maintenance. I ended getting mine from a place called something like i-rotor. They were noticeably heavier than the original ones that I took off but other than that, I am very happy with them.

When I had my '00, I went with a set of one piece Baer Eradispeeds drilled and slotted. Had them on the car for better than 6 years and they still looked great when I sold the car. Not the cheapest, but they did the job and looked very good.

I have the AC/Delco drilled/slotted from Rockauto, not too bad on price if I remember and they have held up well.

Baer eradispeed 2 piece rotors 12.79 inch front and 14 inch rear.
I have had them for 7 years and no rust.
Great fit and really fills up rear wheel.
$1149 at West Coast Corvettes
Polished SS brake pad covers are a plus.
