I ran the antenna wire back to the outboard left tail light. Removed the light and mounted an "L" bracket for the antenna and put the light back in. Out of sight and I get great reception, even in the garage.
I removed the A Pillar cover from the drivers side. Put my NAV antenna at the base of the A Pillar with a dab of silicone adhesive to keep it in place. Put the cover back on . . . out of sight out of mind, and has worked great for many years.

I had mine in the dash at first and unless I was in an open field it wouldnt play more than 5 seconds. Relocated it to the top on the rear glass and the reception is great!
I have Sirius and have tried the corners of the dash, under the hood (neither worked well). Also tried the metal bracket behind the rear fascia.......just OK. Currently I have it on the top edge of my coupe's hatch, in the center, held with a dab of silicone. Best so far and looks OEM..........but I still get drop outs near hills or under trees and such
I placed mine above the left rear tail light. Used heavy duty mounting tape and stuck it to the underside of the rear facing up. Works great and has been in place for over 2 years.
