As long as you take care of them I have seen microsuede last upwards of 7 years (great longevity for the price) Dare I say, they might even hold up better than the stock C5 seats Another great thing, you can also order new covers from Corbeau when yours start to look very worn.

We are also an authorized WD for Corbeau. Give me a shout and I will beat whatever pricing you are getting elsewhere.

Standard rails are single lock. Add $39 ea for double locking rails.

Have you read this thread yet?

Some of the points may be an issue for you, depending on your personal preferences and physical dimensions.

hmm... the "not sliding forward enough" might be an issue. can you explain in a little better detail what you mean? Im also 5'9'' and the other problems are not an issue for me...

The rails just aren't long enough; they would benefit from several more notches that would allow the seat to move farther forward. You're the same height as me, so assuming our legs are similarly sized it really just depends on your driving style. I prefer to really be on top of my pedals for maximum control so that my calves/ankles can do most of the work instead of relying on my quads/knees, so it took me a little while to get used to the new seat position. It might not bother you at all if you have a more relaxed driving style, though. Honestly, I rarely ever think about it anymore, but it still would be nice to have one or two more forward notches.

My advice is to try to find a local member with A4's installed. It'll only take one lap around a parking lot for you to figure out if it'll be a problem for you.

I got the leather and they look awesome and should last longer than microsuede.

Happy with my black leather A4's overall.

On the A4's - have about a 35 inch waist , 5'10" and about 180 pounds.

I sat in an A4 seat at a local store- the side bolsters were really snug around my waist area. Is this normal or am I too fat for the seats? I would not call myself fat- have pretty wide shoulders which were not an issue.

from what i have read... 35" is pushing it as far as "comfort" go in the
A4s... having never actually sat in any... im probably not the one to ask.

I can not seem to make up my mind on what seats to go with....

You will have to use some washers to make them comfortable. Before adding the washers I felt like I was falling foward while driving. My friend noticed a big difference when I installed the washers. (I didn't tell him). He said that the seats were way more comfortable. They do keep you planted in place. I say go with them. If you don't like them there will be 20 people trying to buy them from you with 20 min. of posting them for sale. Shop around there are a lot of places that do free shipping. The shipping is not cheap on these. Good luck. I hope you like them.

I have the A4 in microsuede and it's a daily driver. I've got 3+ years on them and they are holding up fine. I agree that you need to use washers between the seats and the floor mounts and even between the frame and the seats. I have absolutly no movement in the seat mounts. I do wish they would slide forward a touch more, but it works for me. I do enjoy not having to find something to grab onto going around corners and my passengers also enjoy not having to grab onto stuff too.
