Default two questions

I'm looking for suggestions from forum members on a couple of items:I have a 2001 C5 with manual trans.

thinking of dressing the engine compartment up a little with Chrome cap cover kit. I see several from various vendors, but they all are covers held in place with Velcro. I was wondering how this works out. It would seem that you have to remove the cap before you can actually remove the cap itself. Do these caps stay in place given the heat and vibration of the engine running.? Any recommendations.

What do folks use, if anything, to dress up the plastic surfaces under the hood ?

Second question: I live in Union County New Jersey. Can anyone recommend a shop that they have used to replace their original Bose Radio. I'm thinking of just changing out the radio. Current system works fine, but was thinking about upgrading to one with I Pod jack. Also the CD player currently skips once in great while. Just thinking about future upgrade.

Thanks ahead of time for any help or assistance.

On your stereo questions,go to the audio section, lots of good info there. Also look up c5 bearsfan or DDmods he will have everything you need from under the hood to you radio, great prices and a great guy.The only thing about going there,I hope u have deep pockets, not because of his prices, there really good, but you will want something he has,I'm sure of that.good luck.
