I went on line to order some chrome lugs nuts today - Hated the gray OEM covers - but the I decide to try painting the plastic cover nuts satin black - I like it! - I think I like it better than having chrome lug nuts! Cost - What? 10 cents total

QUOTE]

OK - -

My new lost cost 10-cent Mod. – The factory molded some gray plastic to form a cover to install over the factory lug objects which hold the wheels in place on my motorcar – I found these gray covers to have a large case of the ugly – So I used a rattle can with black paint inside the pressurized can to cover up what was in my opinion an ugly color of gray – My choice of color was a semi-gloss black which I found to be most pleasing to my eyes – In no way did I grope my molded plastic covers while removing them or while I was re-installing them on my motorcar. Maybe because the grey blends in with the polished wheel from afar...

I like it Painting your "nutz" black is definitely cheaper than buying a black set.

P.S. I really like all the custom engraving on yours.
