Haha! Just couldn't leave it alone, huh? What's under that new hood?

My 1,316 mi '04 CE vert is finally getting shipped to me, the transport co called me this AM and said it will be picked up in MN next Monday the 11th & be here that following Wednesday, the 13th. That will be 5 days short of waiting a full month for it.

I've already received much of the first round of mods; SLP PowerFlo mufflers, Vette Net rear windscreen (we have an Olds ragtop & I hate the wind on the back of my neck, this will slow that way down), some chrome & leather bits; headers, X pipe, and A&A blower to come later, when I can stand to be without the car for a few days...

Yours certainly looks great, how's it handle on the track? Do you have F55 or mods for racing suspension? Looks great, again!

C5Z06 front and rear springs, C6Z06 sway's with the F55 suspension. Tires are Nitto Invo but not in those pictures. 275/35-18 and 345/30-19 on 18x10 and 19x13 rims. Not much under the hood
That's radically-cool engine bay! I saw the flamed fuel rail covers and the other LeMans Blue covers, when I looked at your CF Public Profile, so you obviously added the blower sometime after that picture was taken. The polished supercharger housing really pops with the blue & flames man, looks fantastic! Did you find those painted covers done, or did you have to have them done, or DIY?

I've been shopping for all the tasteful dressing I can find, and found a lot, but no LeMans Blue covers. I was just about settled on all polished stainless, but your stuff looks better, methinks... I wouldn't be copying you exactly, I think I'm still going with a centri blower, a local guy is a guru for A&A, and from what I've been reading, would suit my low-boost desire better. I just want to make up for the altitude (ahem, cough), and hoping I can still hook into the VaraRam system ducts I just bought too, without a need for a new hood. Using the VaraRam may take a setup more like what you have, though. I saw a deal with a Magnuson I think it was, with the same shape hood you have, too. What'd you get?

Yes, the NEW factor is making the wait tolerable, but having an actual shipping DATE now is making it a lot MORE tolerable. It's good you're driving yours, I won't be putting a LOT of miles on mine, but that's only because I don't have somewhere to go every day. But, if I don't take it out at least a couple of times a week, something else is bad-wrong...

One good thing about this part of Colorado, the sun shines 360 days a year on average, so I won't be storing it in the Winter, just avoiding the really bad days, which are few, thankfully.

And, to the last two posters after you, obviously I agree, C5 ragtops are the BEST looking Corvettes, period.

Best regards,
...z
