Well I bought my Vette over a month ago on Ebay and was finally able to pick it up a few weeks ago. The car is awesome but after getting it home and going over the entire car top to bottom I have found a few issues and was hoping you guys could help me diagnose and repair them. I did a few things to the car already. Changed all the fluids and put Pennzoil Synchromesh in the transmission. I did the steering column lock bypass and the skip shift eliminator. I also put on a mgw short throw shifter. It's a 2002 6mt with 9k on the odometer.
1. The front leaf spring has a crack in it. I'll post a picture later, A small strip of the surface of it has begun to peel back on it. Looks to be superficial mostly just wondering if this is common occurrence.
2. The turn signals work intermittently, it's completely random when it decides not to want to work. I'm hoping this is another common issue that I'll be able to fix on the car.
3. The passenger seat seems a little loose when someone sits in it. Hard to describe but I do have dual power seats so I'm not entirely sure what I need to tighten to remedy this issue.
^ Day I picked it up I since added a color matching top instead of the tinted one
^My buddies two car garage, yes he installed a lift and cut out the framing in the ceiling so he can lift his cars all the way up.

As a new member you will find several things that help. The first is SEARCH. The issues you found are common and have been discussed and fixed several times. There are tutorials with pictures on this site. The second is the stickys at the top of the page. Some members who have found ways to fix common problems have posted how to's with pictures. Also when you need to ask a question, if you'll mention the year and type of Corvette, it makes it easier to answer your questions. Not all models and types use the same parts or require the same fixes.
Hope this will help. By using the stickys, you can also learn lots of valuable things about your car that are useful or just good to know. Congratulations on finding your car. Welcome to the forum.
Here is a couple more angles I didn't realize that my resolution was turned down on my phone when I snapped the shots. I won't be able to get better pictures till I get back from Iraq in a few months.

Congrats on the purchase - looks like a nice ride. For the rocking seat, there are a number of fixed available. Forum vendor theradioflyer sells a kit that you can install to fix the problem. I've also got a few Word files that talk about various ways to fix a rocking seat. If you'd like a copy, PM me your e-mail address.
And stay safe in Iraq - and thanks for your service.
It looks like you have most of the answers you needed, with the exception of the leaf spring issue. I'm sure a better pic when you return home will help get you the response you need.
